Jewish children integrated into classes for the hearing.

In large cities like Haifa and Jaffa, Arab deaf children are sent to Jewish schools so they receive education in Hebrew and therefore do not learn how to read lips in Arabic.  This then thwarts communication with their families and cultural surroundings.
